Federer’s manager announced two days ago that he will not be recovered from his two knee surgeries this year in time to to play the Australian Open. This is devastating news for the Tennis world and fans down under.

Federer’s manager said that he is making good progress but will not be ready to compete down under.

As Federer gets older and will reach 40 in 2021, he is very specific and strategic about the tournaments he plays and mindful of his fitness. It has been no secret that Federer particularly loves Wimbledon, and it is there he probably has his best chance of another Grand Slam title. 2021 also brings the Japan Olympics and Federer has made it clear that he wants to play and do well at them.

Here is hoping that Federer is fully recovered asap and is back on the court competing at his best, with the best!
