With the Australian Open over now…
Currently there is the WTA Adelaide International happening, ATP Montpellier, ATP Cordoba, ATP Singapore, plus some challenger events. Most of the top players have decided to take a break after Australia and slowly get to their next port of call.
It is exciting times with Roger Federer making his long awaited comeback at the Qatar Open on March 8th. Everyone will be watching to see how his form is and if he still has what it takes to be at the top of the game.
Nadal has pulled out of Rotterdam after his back injury is still causing him problems. He pulled out of the tournament saying that the injury that caused him some problems in Australia is still not healed and he needs more time to recover.
Ashley Barty suffered a consecutive loss for the first time in a long time when she lost to Danielle Collins in Adelaide this week.
Not much other Tennis news to talk about for now… but no doubt the talk will soon turn to if and when the French Open will be played and if it will have spectators or not this year.
