Introducing Jo Lindsay. A long time tennis fan, who after having played many years ago is just rediscovering playing social tennis again and loving it. When not watching tennis or dabbling in social tennis you will find Jo with hanging with her dogs from her dog minding business ‘Mind your Pup’.

– Who is your favourite current ATP/WTA player?  It has been great to watch Ash Barty’s rise to the top pre-pandemic. Look forward to seeing her play again in the Aussie open.

– Who would you say is the most talented player of all time?  Hard to compare, but it’s hard to go past Serena Williams as far as Grand Slam results go, 23 Grand Slams the most of all time (even more than Fed!!)

– Favourite Grand Slam? Aussie and Wimbledon for sure.

– Favourite Tennis Brand? Wilson, the only brand racquet I have ever used.

– What is your favourite Tennis shot? Backhand down the line (not sure if that’s the technical term..haha!)

– What do you think is Tennis best rivalry? Fed and Nadal for sure, I love watching the two of them play, and actually saw them play live at the Aussie open a few years back in the semi finals. Was a dream! I think the exciting new rivalry to watch is Thiem and Zverev, who also seem to be good mates off court, but are well matched for a good rivalry on court for many years.

– Do you think woman and men should receive equal prize money in Grand Slams despite player best of 3 and best of 5? Yes, but I think the women should also play 5 sets. Equal pay for equal work!

– If you had a dinner party and could invite three past or present players who would you choose? Serena Williams, Roger Federer and Jim Courier.
